FRIDAY - full day - easy
This tour you must not miss, you cannot take a holiday in Lucca without spending at least a day on the beautiful coast along San Rossore-Migliarino park and Versilia –  but how to get there? On a bike, of course. I could write an epic on this because there are so many paths that go there and they are all very attractive with wildlife, history, etc. Also the beach offers different possibilities. Are you worried about the return? After having cycled, lunched, and bathed in the sea and sun, you will be definitely feel a bit tired, but this is not a problem because we will drive you back thanks to our comfortable minivan.

Friday is the day of the beach and sea, easy, flat (but consider that are 35 km to the sea and 7 more to Viareggio, a total of aprox 42 km). It is an all inclusive tour, from the morning biking thru the countryside with stop for lunch on the sea, to the relax on the beach and further slow biking to Viareggio promenade in the afternoon. The tour starts along the Serchio river, on white gravel road, in a natural landscape, very relaxing and not lacking in history thanks to Ripafratta fortress and the watchtowers on the border between the cities of Lucca and Pisa, old enemies. Left the river behind us we go along Massaciucoli park to reach another natural reserve, San Rossore-Migliarino park, which follow the coast untill Viareggio. Here the path flow thru pinewoods and natural beaches, becoming partially sandy. Marina di Torre del Lago Puccini is our first destination, after about 35 km: it's time to relax, feel the sea water and then lunch* on the beach. After lunch we will still have free time** to spend relaxing on the beach and biking along it to Viareggio, where the coast become rich in bars, shops and private baths. To bathe and relax on the beach we will give to our clients our private beach towels  and a beach cabin will be at our disposal. The minivan will come to pick up us at 5.30 pm

The meeting is on friday at 9.15 in Corte Petri 1,  in Lucca city centre, where after choosing the bike, taken the bag with the towel, filled the bottle we will leave the town at about 9.30 am.  The tour is available on other days with a supplement, depending on the number of participants.

Price: € 95 per pers. (min. 4 persone) Includes: trekking bike, helmet, bike bottle, guide/assistant, lunch, use of beach towel and cabin, transfer back by minivan

*Lunch usually includes water, wine and a kind of pasta with fish (other on request)
**the program is based on about 4/4,5 on bicycle, 1 hour time for lunch, about 2,5 hours between the beach and Viareggio promenade (it also depend on weather conditions)
