The part of Tuscany that we regard as “our own”, as if it were a fenced garden around Lucca, which represents the house, stretches from Montecatini Terme until Montalbano to the east, and Pisa and the river Arno, the coast of Versilia, the peaks of the Apuan Alps and the Apennines delimiting the territory to the west and north. Therefore, our “garden” embraces the sea, the mountains, copious countryside, a short stretch of plain land, three marshes, two rivers, 1 lake, numerous canals... and all within a natural radius of 20 kilometres. Thus, it is easy to pass from hilly roads, full of curves, ups and downs, wending among olive groves and vineyards, with breath-taking views to dirt tracks and unpaved roads on the plain, long rivers, canals and wetlands to remain as far as possible from the traffic. Therefore, what better to enjoy our territory to the full than a riding a bike, performing well on asphalt but just as much fun on unpaved roads? We have prepared itineraries of varying difficulties for whoever wants to enjoy him or herself with the bike and adventure into terrains of all kinds!
