Lucca - Viareggio
Day 3
Distance km. 52
Altitude m. 270

The adventure begins in the crisp Lucca morning, when the city's streets and markets awaken with a lively atmosphere. Leaving the urban area, the route leads you to Nozzano, a fortified hamlet that retains its medieval charm. After a brief but intense climb through the greenery, a breathtaking panorama opens up: Lake Massaciuccoli, Migliarino Park, and the sea sparkling on the horizon. From this vantage point, the descent to Viareggio and Versilia's beaches offers a peaceful ride. The Massaciuccoli wetlands provide a unique scenic contrast, giving you a completely new perspective.
Viareggio - Tirrenia
Day 4
Distance km.55
Altitude: 110m

The fourth stage of the tour begins by leaving Versilia and the iconic 'Passeggiata di Viareggio', a famous Tuscan destination frequented by celebrities and renowned for its carnival and luxury yacht production. The scenery shifts dramatically as you enter the 'Migliarino-San Rossore-Massaciuccoli' Natural Park, characterized by fragrant pine forests and dirt roads running alongside sandy dunes. You may choose to visit Lake Massaciuccoli, cycling right up to its shores, and exploring Villa Puccini (https://www.giacomopuccini.it/) if time permits. Once you have crossed Pisa (a stop in Piazza dei Miracoli for a photo with the Leaning Tower is a must), you will continue along the 'Trammino' cycle path until you reach Tirrenia, where today's stage concludes.
Tirrenia - Quercianella
Day 5

Distance km. 26,
Altitude m.120 (or 300m)

From Tirrenia you can join the waterfront cycle path to admire the beautiful view of the coast and the city of Livorno. The scents of the Mediterranean scrub will delight your senses along all the route.
After a quick tour of the historic Centre - Bella Venezia district - pedal to the Livorno seafront.
Arrived in Ardenza you can choose either to ride along the seafront on a busy road but with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan Archipelago and the cliffs full of hidden coves, or take the Via del Santuario di Montenero, a panoramic climb of around 300 meters nestled in the green and followed by a road that goes downhill to Quercianella. It's up to you!

Quercianella - Castagneto Carducci
Day 6

Distance : 47 km
Altitude : 165m

You will start your tour southwards always along the seaside: you will enjoy the cycling on natural bike paths inside the centenarian pinewoods, arriving up to several lovely sandy beaches: “The White – Beaches of Vada”, the “Mazzanta”, the “Marina di Cecina”…since the climate in this part of Tuscany is very pleasant also in Spring and Autumn, you will have the chance to stop and relax on the sand, enjoying the typical quiet of early/late season and going for a swim in the sea when sun still bright high.

Bolgheri Wine Roads
Day 7
Distance km. 35
Altitude m. 200

The fourth tour of the holiday is a break in the countryside. This is the day for people loving quality wines and the typical Tuscan countryside, with cypresses, vineyards, farmhouses, mild hills in the background…just like in the postcards! Actually, the area we cross is not far from the sea and so not too hilly. The route is along the “Wine Road of the Etruscan Coast”: you will reach Bibbona, Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci crossing the whole area where SuperTuscan wines as Sassicaia and Ornellaia are produced. You will find a lot of wineries where stop your cycling for a wine tasting, before coming back to our beautiful hotel to relax.
