A fresh, early morning start in Lucca, when the roads, shops and markets are at their liveliest and most attractive. Leaving the city centre and cycling through the most beautiful country roads around Lucca we head towards the sea. The objective of this itinerary is the coast of Versilia and enjoying the good sea air by cycling along the famous coastal road between Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio, and the second objective is to have you experience the most interests ascents of the hills separating the coast from the sea, comprising numerous brief but occasionally demanding climbs. There would also be a third objective, to allow you to discover two fascinating cities, Camaiore and Pietrasanta, where a stop in the historic centres would be mandatory: we know however that you road cyclists never want to stop, not even for a minute, lest you lose your rhythm...
