Bike and wine in Lucca

An easy bike tour to enjoy the sounds, smells and all the little details unusual to people traveling by car.

This rout is suitable for all persons who have a good physical form without being cyclist or experienced athletes. Departing from the historic center of Lucca,  you will do a little panoramic tour of the old wall. In a few minutes, you will arrive to the bike lane of the Serchio River Park. There you can bike quietly in the shade of poplars,elms, willows and alders. You can also find rare species like a kingfisher, black heron or mallard. After biking four kilometers along the Serchio river you enter in the typical Tuscan countryside, near to La Pieve di Santo Stefano, looking up the hill through narrow roads sorrounded by seasonal flowers and fruits and olive grooves, you will arrive to the winery.  Once in the winery you will enjoy different kind of red and white wines they produce with bruschettas.

After this experience, you will ride again your bike the last four kilometers that will take you back to the wall to complete the circular and panoramic tour that started in the morning, ending the tour.
